Matthew Dandurand, Owner & Designer
Matt founded Media Contour on the principle that a company whose primary business is not design has little interest in sustaining a full-time department with those responsibilities. For 9 years Matt worked with a variety of companies, developing their images, designing for print and the web, all while keeping their marketing goals at the forefront. Media Contour serves both the needs of the designer and the client. He creates a mutually beneficial relationship, where the client receives in-house design specialization at contract prices. The client only pays for the work needed; the designer is given creative freedom to work on many projects, not just one.
Lisa Darrow, Business Development
A native Los Angeleno, Lisa thrives in creative environments. She has studied audio and visual arts in both California and New York (Hunter College). Her expertise in digital photography, image editing and audio recording/editing has proven irreplaceable in the mix of services Media Contour offers. Her gift of conversation and sales experience make her the perfect person to lead the Business Development team.
Alejandro Saavedra, Designer
Born amongst a family of artists, Alejandro finds his passion in anything design related. As with most artists, he searched a number of art schools to discover that design and artistic talent cannot be taught. After leaving the ArtCenter College of Pasadena in 2000 as a product designer, he started his career with a small advertising agency in Los Angeles. Here he received extensive training on photography and how to transfer design from pen to paper to digital reality. After mastering these skills, he moved to the world of print, working predominantly in the off-set printing world. His knowledge of both print and multimedia make him a valuable asset to Media Contour's team.
Jeff Kwong, Developer
Jeff Kwong brings over ten years of web development experience to Media Contour. Well versed in today's most utilized programming languages, he has implemented a variety of technologies to create customized solutions to fit his clients' needs. Prior to joining Media Contour, Jeff Kwong had done freelance development for a number of companies developing sites for Disney, Lexus, GM, and EMI. In addition to web development, he teaches multimedia courses at Los Angeles's Pierce College.
Erwin Gungon, Developer
Erwin Gungon is the resident expert in logic formulation, online shopping carts, and database optimization. With 7 years of experience and a degree from California State University Los Angeles, Erwin has an unparalleled passion for developing websites. He is dedicated to his clients, both in and out of the office; he can often be found golfing or enjoying billiards with them on a weekend.
Lin Phung, Developer
As a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Lin has more than 4 years of web programming experience. A computer science graduate of California State University Long Beach, Lin has a working knowledge which spans HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, C++, Java, ASP, ASP.NET, XML, SOAP, ADO, ADO.NET, SQL, C#, VB6 and VB.NET. She is our resident expert in relational databases, stored procedure programming and object-oriented programming.
