Herocare is a non-profit organization which oversees a network of professionals that provide community heroes with specialized services at discounted prices. These services are available to retired and active employees of: the government (city, state & federal), military (all branches, including National Guard, Reserves & Coast Guard), school systems (public & private), medical systems (public & private), and EMS (fire, police & medic.)
As a non-profit organization, HeroCare had an image that needed to be preserved. Anything which appeared too expensive or elaborate might have appeared to its visitors as a waste of their funds. Therefore, Media Contour kept a clean, simple design and enhanced it by using Flash for only the buttons. Additionally, we installed a video player using YouTube to avoid having to host their own videos.
